Brand Associates is a “specialized network-style brand consulting company” that promotes open innovation. Irrespective of the scale of the business, we coordinate with experienced and proven domestic and overseas branding specialists for the resolution of the diversified branding issues of clients aiming to become leaders in their target markets. We are a style of specialist network brand consulting company that is new to the world, which forms project teams in response to the theme and engages in total branding for all fields.
We aim to be a business that maximizes the results of branding for the client, and more than anything, serves the advancement of society with these results.
We will go on to create other leading business models
in the character business and in other areas.

Masaru Toyozumi (Formerly Interbrand JapanInc. Executive Vice President, COO. Graduate Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, Visiting Professor). Served in various positions such as lecturer at the Waseda University Business School and on the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)'s “Japan Brand Development Assistance Program”. Marketing Director of Tohoku Business Center. A member of Intellectual Property Association of Japan, Japan MOT Society, The Japan Academic Society of Direct Marketing, The Japan Academic Society for Venture and Entrepreneurs and The Japan Society of Competitive Intelligence.
Has 25 years of brand consulting experience and achievements in brand consulting for approximately 1000 projects as the top Japanese in Interbrand, the world's leading brand consulting group. He is an international brand consultant representive of Japan.
Graduated from Waseda University graduate school. Co-authored “Japan Innovation: 35 proposals from WASEDA” (Hakuto-Shobo, 2011).

The Reason behind Our Name

The “brand” in our name of “Brand Associates” refers to our conviction in the power of brands to transcend time and space in linking people together, as well as in maximizing the results of branding for our clients. It also refers to the development of society, while “associates” carries with it the meaning of “colleagues.” Our objective in this is to continue maximizing the results of branding in collaboration with our abundant experience and long track record with branding for resolving the various challenges with branding that our clients have in the brand consulting sector.
The true foundation for our branding service is the notion that a “good team leads to good solutions.”
